Tear gas fired as mayhem erupts in Kuala Kangsar
The Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) fires several rounds of tear gas as more than 3,000 Pakatan Rakyat supporters converge for a protest march at the Ubudiah mosque - about 1km from Iskandariah palace in Kuala Kangsar.

Public sentiment about Hee Yit Foong
Some people call her a shameless frog, some call her a heartless bitch (and she truly is a bitch, one that sucks the cock of najis tiu rosak and also sm with the same fucker). Her asshole has also been poked by Ben. She treats the public as stupid, betrayed her 12000 Jelapang voters' trust and angered the whole Malaysian public just because her demand to be made a state councilor of the new state government was not met after the General Election in March. She was made a Deputy Speaker instead and was given an official car for her to use.
Ever since the GE she has been reportedly holding grudges against the party and state government. She has failed repeatedly to attend functions organized by her party and the state government.
In Dec 2008 when the state government changed the whole fleet of Malaysian made Proton Perdana which required high maintenance upkeep to Toyota Camry. She again demanded a brand new Toyota Camry to be given to her. As the state government has limited resources understandably only some senior state officials were provided with the new car.
Her demands for a position and a new Camry cannot be met so she jumped ship and helped brought down a state government which has done credible well in a short span of 10 months.
On the event of her defection from the Pakatan Rakyat state government, Hee Yit Foong's house in Ipoh and her service centre in Jelapang have been pelted with stones by people angry with her defection. Her blatant betrayal to her constituency and the Malaysian public has made her an enemy of the people and has confirmed her legacy as one of the most defining traitors to the Malaysian nation.

5.08pm: The Perak government has fallen. Najib said at his press conference that the Barisan Nasional has the support of the four former Pakatan Perak assemblypersons - three will be "BN-friendly" Independents, while Nasarudin will rejoin Umno.
Najib will meet the Perak Sultan as soon as possible. He said it is up to the sultan to decide on Nizar's request for dissolution of the assembly.
At the same venue, Nasarudin denied the claim that he had been abducted.
