Here are some air intake modification for Suzuki Swift.
My favourite will be TryForce Intake kit as it still make use half of the original intake box design and it give more Torque and HP with dyno proven data too.

HKS Suction Kit Reloaded
Monster PFX400 Kit
Simota Carbon Charger Kit
Simota Carbon Short RAM
Simota Drop In
Suzuki Sport Intake via Fog Light hole

Suzuki Sport Induction Box
Suzuki Sport Air Funnel
Trust - Greddy Airinx B-Type

  13. For stock auto... if you still want to maintain low end power... try to use the stock box setup... a drop in filter should be good enough...
The latest TM Square intake box with CAI looks like a very good design for me...

  14. what mods can you suggest for my 1.5L or M15A suzuki swift manual? what intake should i use?

  18. okay, thanks man... hmmm is it necessary to change the muffler when you changing the air intake? would the muffler help in the performance?

    ReplyDelete
  19. The most basic mod for car performance is intake and exhaust system...
You may consider full exhaust system start from extractor, mid pipe and muffler for the upgrade.

  26. If you driving swift sport 1.6MT should be no problem to install an open pod filter... Those HKS open pod is not bad too.... try to get CAI divert the cold air to the open pod too...

Try not to oversize the exhaust too much....
Which type of carbon intake chamber intake you looking at?
I would recommend TM Square intake system... You may get it from TM Square website... but the price is expensive...

  31. Bro,I added K&N air intake filter together with the Hotbits red piping. The power was good but my engine light turned on. Any idea why? :(

    ReplyDelete
  32. Most likely ECU sense too much of air? or the sensors position wrongly?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Not only is the engine light on,the car starts to jerk during stationary. Is this a common prob for Suzuki Swift after adding open pod? I've been trying to Google about this issue but I can't seem to find any answer for it. But one thing for sure, the open pod does make a big difference.

  55. Hi Bro Koh,

I need to seek your advise. I am driving a Suzuki Swift 1.5A. I am thinking of changing my stock exhaust to HKS HI POWER MUFFLER. I heard from friends that my low end will suffer alot as in no pickup power. Currently i am on stock airbox. How true is it?

    Please advise.

    Regards,
