Osram Nightbreaker

I received my Osram Nightbreaker H4 bulb yesterday which I ordered it from Powerbulbs last Monday.
I decided to upgrade my car's headlight stock bulb to Osram Nightbreaker +90% for safer driving at night. No to HID due to it was illegal and need to take more time to install.
Powerbulbs provide free delivery to the world and the price was cheap too.
I will install it during the weekend and make a comparison.

koh, how much did you pay for it over all? can you let me know the outcome after you've install whether it's totally white color or it's a bit of white. i'm currently using philips diamond/ crystal vision, it's white in color and always kacaued by the cops. i heard this night breaker is good and would like to give it a try. notice the ori bulb is fatter compare to the rest of the h4 bulb.

Hi Lvin,
After conversion GBP to MYR it's about RM102.
Yes.. Osram NB's bulb is fatter compare to normal bulb too.
The blue tint will make the yellow light become white color light... The NB just had very small layer of blue tint; so i'm sure its a bit whiter (10% whiter as written in the box too)
I'll post the before and after comparison this coming weekend.
Stay tune... :P
BTW Philips X-tream power +80% also a very good bulbs, but its more exp...

It should be not so white. If you happens to bump into those color blind cops, then you will be wasting time explaining to them. Haha...

If you wanna do comparison, I suggest you on your headlights towards the wall, then snap a pic of the brightness before and after. Then we can compare and study more. Hehe..

Hi Jimmy... thanks for the advice...

White is really bad when it rains. You won't be able to see clearly at all. Yellow would be better, i would probably install a set of yellow Hella driving lights in near future.

Hi Vince,
I agree with you too; I had installed white beam bulb before... it was clear when there is no road lamp... but really sucks when raining due to the reflection of the white beam...

thanx koh, looking forward to your comparison b4 i make the purchase, hopefully the promo will still be available.

currently my philips gives me overall white, and i must say it's very good, in fact i'm so use to white and when i drive other car which is not, i feel uneasy, when it comes to raining, still ok, but i'll trun on my fog light to warn others.

philips xtreme is the one with hid effect? that one sure kacau by the cops lah.
