Switch from semi to fully synthetic oil?

My car is 8 months old and the mileage is touching 10,000km soon.
It's time to bring my swift to service again.
From the service manual Suzuki swift are going for 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k.... interval of 10k km per service. However it stated if the car driven in dusty place or always travelling short distance should go for engine oil change on every 5000km or 3 months.
My service center is providing Shell Helix Plus for normal Swift but Shell Helix Ultra for Swift Sport.
I was thinking to switch from Helix Plus to Helix Ultra.... and it will cost more of course...
What you guys think?

Shell Helix Plus (currently using it)
Shell Helix Ultra (plan to change it)

U can try Blitz S2 or Mutiara M7, both of that are fully systhetic oil and the price also cheaper, rm130 for 4 litre.

Thanks for the suggestion... since my engine is new... maybe i should consider 5w 30 instead of 10w 40...
Any other good and afforable 5w 30 engine oil?

The Brand is not exactly important as most of the branded one is almost equal in quality and performance. Just dun buy the cap ayam ones... normally those are re-filtered oil, not prime ones.
If you want high grade fully syn (high price), can use Motul 5W30 Eco-energy, Castrol EDGE Sport 5W30, Mobil 1 5W30 or Royal Purple 5W30.
For more economical oil is Perodua 5W30 semi-syn.
I doubt you should change the oil at 10k interval no matter how high grade, your oil will still get dirty over time and it is wise to change it often. For semi-syn, I was changing it at 5k interval. If I ever use fully syn, mainly for track day and i will still change it in 5k or less (depends on how hard the car is lapped).
Don't forget the gear oil, 80k change interval is bull shit and is trying to get you to change your gear box after 3~5 years. I change my gear oil at 10k. My wife, dad and mom's (3 cars) auto gear oil at 15k.

You can try Motul HTec 100 5w-30, i tried this engine oil but after i read the owner manual that 5w-30 is only for the place below 30 deg celcius, i changed to blitz s2.

Vince... after read the owner manual again... ATF should be change every 30k km.

Hakim... how much is the Motul HTec 100?

Lucky you read the manual again, but 30k is still too long.... >1 year i think.
Imagine not changing your daily used auto gear box oil for 1 year. I still recommend to get it changed 15k once. To me the manual is the minimum criteria, I would rather overkill the gear oil change than to risk changing the entire gear box.
The 5w30 is ok to be used in our climate. The blitz s2 is 5W40.
5w30 vs 5w40 is telling us both oil have the same '5' voscosity grade at cold temp but when at 100degC the 30 is lower viscosity than the 40. This mean the motul have lower viscosity at high temp (higher flow rate) which is good for high rev but bear in mind leaks can happen easier too. The 40 is more restrictive but useful on older engine where leaks is high potential (higher viscosity mean thicker oil and harder to leaks but harder to rev too).

Same price with blitz s2, rm130.
